Happy Lunar New Year everybody. This is the year of the ox, the year both my mom and my brother were born. eggcellent.
first of all, check out this cutie apron my mom made for me for christmas. i love it! so retro!
also used my mom’s pork dumpling recipe. outstanding as always. i made dozens and dozens throughout the night.
and as the night grew longer, the stickers got more blurry!

scallion pancakes in the back. veggie dumplings and char siu bao in the steamer. i also made glutinous rice with chinese sausage and water chestnuts and some with mushrooms and baby corn. and some spicy ginger garlic peanuts.
